DON'T BE ANGRY

 ➊ {الَّذِيْنَ يُنْفِقُوْنَ … :} ان آیات میں اہل جنت کی صفات کا ذکر ہے، چنانچہ ان کی پہلی صفت یہ ہے کہ خوش حالی اور تنگ دستی ہر حالت میں وہ اپنی استطاعت کے مطابق خرچ کرتے رہتے ہیں اور نیک کاموں اور رضائے الٰہی کے لیے مال صرف کرنے سے انھیں کوئی چیز غافل نہیں کرتی۔ (ابن کثیر) 

 ➋ {وَ الْكٰظِمِيْنَ الْغَيْظَ:} ان کی دوسری صفت یہ ہے کہ وہ غصہ سے مغلوب ہونے کے بجائے اس پر قابو پا لیتے ہیں۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’پہلوان ہرگز وہ نہیں جو بہت زیادہ پچھاڑ دینے والا ہو، بلکہ پہلوان وہ ہے جو غصے کے وقت اپنے آپ پر قابو رکھے۔‘‘ [ بخاری، الأدب، باب الحذر من الغضب: ۶۱۱۴، عن أبی ہریرۃ ؓ ] 

 ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے آپ ﷺ سے عرض کی : ’’مجھے وصیت فرمائیے۔‘‘ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : [ لاَ تَغْضَبْ ] ’’غصہ مت کر۔‘‘اس نے کئی دفعہ درخواست دہرائی، آپ نے یہی فرمایا : [ لاَ تَغْضَبْ ] ’’غصہ مت کر۔‘‘ [ بخاری، الأدب، باب الحذر من الغضب : ۶۱۱۶۔ ترمذی : ۲۰۲۰ ] 

 ➌ {وَ الْعَافِيْنَ عَنِ النَّاسِ:} یہ دراصل غصہ پی جانے کا لازمی تقاضا ہے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’تین چیزوں پر میں قسم کھاتا ہوں، صدقہ سے مال کم نہیں ہوتا، اللہ تعالیٰ معاف کر دینے سے بندے کی عزت میں اضافہ ہی کرتا ہے اور جو اللہ کے لیے نیچا ہوتا ہے اللہ اسے اونچا کر دیتا ہے۔‘‘ [مسلم، البر والصلۃ، باب استحباب العفو : ۲۵۸۸۔ عن أبی ہریرۃ ؓ۔ ترمذی: 2325 ] اور یہ احسان کا مقام ہے اور اللہ محسنین سے محبت رکھتا ہے۔

سورۃ نمبر 3 آل عمران

(آیت 134) 

➊ {الَّذِيْنَ يْنْفِقْونَ ... :} The attributes of the people of Paradise are mentioned in these verses, so their first attribute is that they spend according to their means in every situation of prosperity and poverty and do good deeds and God's pleasure. So nothing distracts them from spending wealth. (Ibn Kathir)

  ➋ {وَ الْكائِمِينَ الْغَيْضَ:} Their second attribute is that they control their anger instead of being overcome by it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A wrestler is not one who throws too many punches, but a wrestler is one who controls himself when he is angry." Harirat]

  Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man said to him: "Give me a will." He said: "Don't be angry." He repeated the request several times. He said: "Do not be angry." Tirmidhi : 2020]

  ➌ {وَ الْعَفِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ} This is actually a necessary requirement for anger. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “I swear by three things: wealth does not decrease from charity, Allah increases the dignity of a servant by forgiving, and whoever is low in the sight of Allah, Allah exalts him. [Muslim, Al-Albar wal Salat, Chapter Istahbab Al-Afu: 2588. On the authority of Abi Hurirah. Tirmidhi: 2325 ] And this is the place of kindness and Allah loves the kind.
